Lesson Planning
How did you come to school today?
Children will:
- Begin to think about grouping data to assemble a pictogram.
- Begin to use vocabulary of comparison: greater than/less than.
- Say the days of the week in correct sequential order.
Creative curriculum activities challenge your children to take part in Walk to School Week and make a real improvement to their happiness, health and wellbeing. There are opportunities for daily maths activities as different data is collected daily for block diagrams. Children analyse data and draw conclusions. Additional topics such as footwear road safety and traffic provide extension activities for each day.
